CIVIS-Neurosciences Symposium: Trilateral meeting
The first CIVIS-Neurosciences Symposium will be held online on 📅 January 21, 2022, at 9:00 AM, with three leading universities of the CIVIS Alliance: Sapienza ( Rome), Eberhard Karls University (Tübingen) and NeuroMarseille.
Throughout the day, speakers from each university will discuss the following topics:

2- Neural stem cells / Adult born neurons,
3- Social / Affective behaviour / Cognition,

Call for proposals : Problem-based learning (= "APP") for M1 students
Students work in small teams on a topical issue in neuroscience, using state-of-the-art technologies in different laboratories in Marseille.
Researchers or engineers, if you have a proposal for a new module or wish to welcome students in your laboratory in an existing "APP", please contact the master's coordinators.

Mental Health First Aid - PSSM
Objectives;
• To acquire basic knowledge about mental health disorders. • Develop interpersonal skills: listening without judgment, reassuring and giving information.
• Better deal with aggressive behaviours.
• Test and appropriate an action plan that can be used to provide immediate support for mental health problems.

L3 and M1 mobility scholarships
NeuroSchool offers mobility grants for internships abroad in the summer of 2022 for selected L3 and M1 students. Information and application on our website (link for L3 students, link for M1 students).

Incoming mobility grants
Researchers, you can continue to propose internships for our master students and partner universities.
Attention: a given supervisor cannot host incoming trainees through NeuroSchool mobility grants simultaneously nor two years in a row.

International co-supervised PhD scholarships
NeuroSchool's PhD program offers to fund up to 54 months of PhD research distributed among several international co-supervised PhD research projects.

INT teams often seek volunteer participants for their studies on cognition. These studies may involve behavioural, physiological or imaging approaches depending on the case.

Save the date: next tutored seminar from Adrienne Fairhall (in person 🥳)
We are pleased to welcome Adrienne Fairhall (in person 🥳) on the 🗓 4th of February for a tutored seminar.
Her group develops theoretical approaches to understand processing in nervous systems. They collaborate closely with experimental labs to uncover algorithms of information processing in various systems, from single neurons to foraging mosquitoes to navigating primates.

NeuroDays 2021: a look back
This year, the event took place on 8 and 9 of November, welcoming about 80 neuroscientists. PhD students in Neurosciences organised a fully animated meeting, including lectures, poster sessions and even a movie show, to discuss current involvements of neurosciences in society, notably regarding the covid-19 crisis.

Results Platform for Neuroscience call
PSN 2021 (Platform Software for Neuroscience), the call opened by NeuroMarseille last month to provide the neuroscience community with software tools, has finally been won by seven researchers from different laboratories in Marseille attached to the institute. The winners were granted more than thirty thousand euros in licenses.

FENS FORUM 2022 AWARDS – CALL FOR APPLICATION
