This virtual event is dedicated to Usher syndrome, a rare genetic disease combining sensorineural deafness, visual impairment due to retinitis pigmentosa and sometimes a vestibular syndrome. This symposium will bring together experts (ENT specialists, ophthalmologists, medical interns, young scientists, students, patient associations) in the field of sensory disorders.
Our conference is free of charge and open to patients and their families, with a half-day dedicated to providing information to patients and patient organizations.

NeuroSchool is planning its future calls for end-of-PhD scholarships. Due to the pandemic situation, many of you got extra funding for their PhD, so your contracts end at different periods. For this reason, please answer this short survey about the expected end of your PhD contract.
Important reminder :
NeuroSchool End-of-PhD scholarship attribution largely depends on your involvement in the program (participating in tutored seminars, attending or organizing NeuroDays, etc).

Neurobiology of addictions : New course in October 2021
A new course is available for PhD program students : Neurobiology of addictions !
In this course you will get an evidenced-based look at the parts of the brain responsible for addiction, the changes in the brain that occur during addiction, the risk factors for addiction, and an overview of how different drugs effect the brain. We'll also explore the neurobiology and evidence for behavioral addictions and take a look at how addiction can be treated.

NeuroSchool Ph.D. program is launching a new initiative: all first-year students are warmly invited to choose a "PhD mentor"!
🔎 The role of the PhD mentor (a permanent member of the research or university staff, not belonging to the same team as the student) is to guide and advise the student on various topics not necessarily related to the scientific content of the PhD project.

🔔 Reminder: the PhD Program advises you to meet your monitoring committee twice, first at 6-12 months after the start of your PhD studies, and then at 18-24 months. Detailed recommendations are available on our website, on AMeTICE, and in this short video.

[Replay] 1st day of participative research of the GIS autism and TND : "Sleep and Neurodevelopmental Disorders"

The Irène Joliot-Curie Prize, created in 2001, is intended to promote the place of women in research and technology in France. It aims to highlight the careers of women scientists who combine excellence and dynamism. The Prize is awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation with the support of the Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Technologies.
