A vanguard & tailored
education in neuroscience

Launched in July 2018, NeuroSchool* unifies and harmonizes the teachings of the third year of the Bachelor’s degree in Life Science (Neuroscience path), the Master’s degree and the PhD program in neuroscience. Funded by the National Research Agency (ANR) and the Academy of Excellence of Aix-Marseille Université (€10 million over 10 years), NeuroSchool has and will set up innovative actions: mobility grants, clinical internships, PhD fellowships for international students and medical residents, thematic schools, conferences, individual career plans, complementary diplomas (communication, data science, business creation), FabLabs. Its main goals are:

  • to increase the links between training, research, and clinical practice,
  • to improve graduates’ employability,
  • to consolidate and expand international partnerships.

Overall, NeuroSchool brings together a community of students, academics, clinicians, and biotech researchers in a dynamic of pluri-disciplinary excellence and improves Marseille international visibility.

The creation of NeuroSchool gathered Aix-Marseille University neuroscience training and research, from the third year of the BSc degree to the PhD. This allows us to offer a complete curriculum to our students and to ensure the excellence at all levels.
