Two NeuroMarseille researchers have been awarded CNRS medals in 2020!

Each year, the CNRS Medal celebrate researchers and staff who make an outstanding contribution to the dynamism and reputation of the institution. The results came in early February, and NeuroMarseille counts two medallists among its researchers for 2020:

  • Rosa Cossart, researcher at the Institute of Mediterranean Neurobiology (INMED), was awarded a silver medal for her work.

The silver medal recognizes researchers for the originality, quality and importance of their work, which is recognized nationally and internationally.

  • Rochelle Ackerley, researcher at the Sensory and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (LNSC) was awarded a bronze medal for her research.

The bronze medal is awarded to early work by researchers who are specialists in their field. This distinction represents an encouragement from the CNRS to pursue research that is well underway and already fruitful.
