Keynote day, by NeuroMarseille

NeuroMarseille is organizing a keynote day this summer for the Marseille neuroscience community (researchers, engineers, students...) on the Saint-Charles campus. Celebration of the multi-laboratories ICR laureates, keynote lecture by Pr Blanke coming from Schwitzerland, and many interesting workshops. This special day will be a summer meeting to get together and mark a milestone in the collaboration and initiatives taken at NeuroMarseille. Save the date, we hope to see you by hundreds !

Cognitive Control and Performance Monitoring #2

See you from May 29 to 31 for the second edition of the CCPM meeting, which will take place at the Vacanciel Mileade in Carry-le-Rouet. Experts in distinct but related research fields, such as cognitive control, metacognition or introspection, will give explanations on the relationship between subjective experiences and adaptive behavior. The event is especially organized to honor the memory of Laurence Questienne, a brilliant researcher who did her PhD and post-doc with the organizers, Wim Gevers and Boris Burle.

    Statistics for neuroscience course

    During the week of June 13th - 17th, NeuroSchool will organize a « Statistics for neuroscience » course, which will allow you to acquire theoretical but also applied knowledge on how to deal with real empirical data, such as those obtained in your research. The course will be given by Mr. Royce Anders from the University of Lyon and will involve the use of Python to program the analysis tools. Maximum 30 students, registration currently open on Ametice.

    DESU - Data science applied to neuroscience

    3 PhD opportunities in Finland

    The University of Eastern Finland is proposing 3 PhD contracts, funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships of the Horizon Europe work program. They are related to experimental biomedical MRI.     Cognitive Control and Performance Monitoring #2

    See you from May 29 to 31 for the second edition of the CCPM meeting, which will take place at the Vacanciel Mileade in Carry-le-Rouet. Experts in distinct but related research fields, such as cognitive control, metacognition or introspection, will give explanations on the relationship between subjective experiences and adaptive behavior. The event is especially organized to honor the memory of Laurence Questienne, a brilliant researcher who did her PhD and post-doc with the organizers, Wim Gevers and Boris Burle.

    2 NeuroMarseille labs co-sign an article in Nature

    Anne Kavounoudias, professor at the LNC, and Bruno Nazarian, engineer at the INT, contributed to a study on neuroprostheses to treat paraplegia, which was published in Nature Medicine. The work showed impressive results, with partial recovery of patients. The article was a success with international media coverage. A great honor!

    Master's students receive distinction through the TIGER program

    The TIGER program, financed by AMU and the A*Midex foundation, has made it possible to reward some master's students among those who have obtained the best results and show interest in research.
