Alumni meeting at the Cognitive Science Forum
On February 26th, the Neuronautes and FRESCO organised a day dedicated to cognitive science on the Saint-Charles campus. MedIM 2022 Workshop: Methods for studying molecular interactions
Co-funded by NeuroSchool, this workshop proposes to (re)discover the main biophysical techniques for the characterization of molecular interactions through theoretical presentations and above all practical workshops on the equipment of 3 Marseille platforms: the Timone INteractome Platform (PINT) of the INP, the Structural Biology platform of the AFMB and the platforms of the IMM. Have a look at the review of the 2020 edition for precisions.

Bordeaux Summer School : Introduction to experimental neuroscience
Seize the unique opportunity to discover methods and concepts in neuroscience research through hands-on training within the premises of the Bordeaux School of Neuroscience. From July 18th to July 30th, 2022, graduate and doctoral students from various disciplines will follow case-based teaching by taking part in mini-projects supervised by experienced doctoral students and international experts in neuroscience.

Two PhD studentships in circuit and behavioural neuroscience
INMED is looking for 2 PhD students to join the lab for a fully funded 3 years of studentships. The first subject bears on "information processing using optogenetics and patch-clamp recordings in brain slices", the other: "exploring in vivo activity during eye-movement related behaviours".

Experts in distinct but related research domains like cognitive control, metacognition or introspection will give explanations on the relation between subjective experiences and adaptive behaviour. INT's Monthly Neuroimaging Meetings (NMR) are intended to be a forum for the presentation and discussion of research projects in neuroimaging, results obtained, or reference articles in the field, as well as to raise methodological questions. As part of their mission to provide information on advances in the field of neuroscience, NeuroMarseille and NeuroSchool are launching their calls for thematic schools and scientific events for the period 01/09/2022 to 31/08/2023. The calls for projects are open!

Diploma in Data science applied to neuroscience
NeuroSchool offers a brand new training program : a postgraduate diploma (DESU) in Data science applied to neuroscience. nEURo*AMU/NeuroSchool finances the enrolment of selected M2 and PhD students. Training is scheduled between June 13 and July 1, 2022, then August 29 to September 2, 2022, with a project to be completed during the summer.

Fight against psychoactive substance use and addiction - SPAV2
The National Cancer Institute (INCa) proposes a call to support research and produce knowledge in the field of psychoactive substance use, and the fight against addictions.
Between 50 and 100 k € will be granted, for 12 to 48 months according to chosen modalities.

KIC Health accelerator programs: Catapult and Bridgehead.

Call for thematic projects on cognitive warfare - 2022
The French National Research Agency (ANR), in partnership with the Defense Innovation Agency (AID) (a national service attached to the French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA)), is launching the ASTRID cognitive warfare call for projects. This program, managed by the ANR, is fully funded by the AID.

For this month of March, tye Neuronautes have prepared 3 main events for the Neuroscience community:
- 10/03/2022 at 5:55 pm: opening conference "Creative Brain" (event theme) of the Brain Awareness Week at the Faculty of Saint-Charles. Registration required.
- 24/03/2022: Springtime of the Associations: giant brain, darts game, stroop test, short term memory test and more. Meet the Neuronautes there from 10am to 5pm.
- 26-27/03/2022: Scientilivre in Toulouse on the theme of colors: playful activities proposed to allow children understand how they see and how their vision plays tricks
