Celebration of the multi-laboratories ICR laureates, keynote lecture by Prof. Blanke coming from Switzerland, and many interesting workshops. This special day will be a summer meeting to get together and mark a milestone in the collaboration and initiatives taken at NeuroMarseille. 2nd INTernational workshop on Marmoset Neuroscience
From July 7 to 8, 2022 in Marseille, the INT is organizing a workshop on Marmoset's neuroscience, as a satellite of the FENS forum. Registration is free but mandatory: open until June 19th. The workshop will present state-of-the-art developments in marmoset's neurosciences, and 10 international scientific leaders will present their most recent research project.

Constance Hammond in the spotlight
Constance Hammond, Director of Research Emeritus at Inserm, will receive the insignia of Officer in the National Order of Merit at Tous Chercheurs (Luminy) on June 8. Honorary Founding President of Tous Chercheurs, she is also the teacher of our MOOC on cellular neurophysiology. Congratulations to her!

L3 RTEI Review
L3 students in neuroscience have followed the "RTEI" introductory research course during the second semester. On this occasion, they were able to discover the steps of a research project until its publication in the form of a poster. Find all the information on this pedagogical innovation implemented by NeuroSchool in our article below, and discover in video and image the experience that our young researchers in the L3 Neurosciences of Marseille have lived! Scientifica exhibition
The Scientifica exhibition consists of an Arts&Sciences day at the Cube on Aix-en-Provence, on Saturday, June 18. Many artists have come together to form this exhibition, including Nadia Merad Coliac, an artist in connection with the INP, who has carried out an artistic project involving bioluminescent bacteria, and the effect of their light on autism. Come and meet these artists who seek to make discover the aesthetic dimension of scientific productions to the greatest number of people!

This international forum will take place soon : from July 9 to 13, 2022 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France. Come attend its numerous lectures and workshop ! FENS satellite meeting: The Neuroarcheology of brain disorders and GABA signals
In parallel to the FENS forum, a satellite meeting will be held to present the concept of Neuroarcheology. Organized by Yehezkel Ben-Ari and Nick Spitzer, the meeting gathers many experts in their fields, and is an opportunity to win prizes (2 and 3k euros). Advanced biostatistics applied to neurosciences
Get ready for the Statistics for neurosciences course, organized from June 13th at 10 am, on the Saint-Charles campus (building #7, room CH 3). PhD students: you can still apply on your Ametice space. Note that you will have to bring your laptop with the Anaconda software set on it, and be ready to code with Python. At the end of this course, you’ll be able to program analysis tools to deal with empirical data, such as those obtained in your scientific work. Good luck !

Data science applied to neuroscience (for M2 and PhD students)
Get ready to acquire the tools that will allow you to carry out your summer project: the 1st part of the Data Science DESU course will soon take place from June 13 to July 1, 2022. The 2nd part will be held from August 29 to September 2, 2022. Obtain the skill of extracting meaning from the noisy and complex data of a subject of study in neuroscience (which is highly sought in the data science job market) and obtain a Diploma (DESU) certified by the State.

Scientific Communication training
At the end of June, students who have enrolled will start the science communication course, which will allow them to obtain a Diploma of Advanced University Studies (DESU) certified by the State. The first session will take place from June 29 to July 13, 2022 (2nd session in August) at the School of Journalism and Communication of Aix-Marseille (EJCAM).

Visualization and development of AMU international network
The DRI of AMU (International Relations Department) has made available resources and a search engine to identify and develop the network of international institutions with which it has or could have a partnership (AMU identifiers required). Find out in a few clicks about the different types of cooperation underway with partner institutions worldwide. Going abroad in M2 neuroscience
NeuroSchool allows AMU students in M1 to pursue their studies in a partner university abroad for their M2. To do so, M1 students can submit an application in the section of our call "Partir à l'étranger en M2 neurosciences" until July 3, 2022. Athens, Brussels, Bucharest, Madrid... students can choose to go to one of the many universities of the CIVIS alliance, of which Aix-Marseille University is a member, or to another partner university. More details in our call.

FENS satellite meeting: The Neuroarcheology of brain disorders and GABA signals

As you know, NeuroMarseille is organizing a keynote day the 28th of June for the Marseille neuroscience community (researchers, engineers, students...) on the Saint-Charles campus. Celebration of the multi-laboratories ICR laureates, keynote lecture by Prof. Blanke coming from Switzerland, and many interesting workshops. This special day will be a summer meeting to get together and mark a milestone in the collaboration and initiatives taken at NeuroMarseille. ITMO Thematic school
The ITMO Neurosciences, Cognitive Sciences, Neurology, Psychiatry (NNP) and the GIS Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders offer a unique opportunity for young clinicians or researchers to immerse themselves in the world of translational research in neuroscience. Going abroad in M2 neuroscience
NeuroSchool allows AMU students in M1 to pursue their studies in a partner university abroad for their M2. To do so, M1 students can submit an application in the section of our call "Partir à l'étranger en M2 neurosciences" until July 3, 2022. Athens, Brussels, Bucharest, Madrid... students can choose to go to one of the many universities of the CIVIS alliance, of which Aix-Marseille University is a member, or to another partner university.
