CANCELLED: Brain Awareness Week is back in 2020

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID19 OUTBREAK

Brain Awareness Week, an international event for the general public coordinated in France by the Société des Neurosciences and organized at the regional level by the association Cerveau Point Comm, returns to Marseille in March 2020!

It’s THE annual meeting for brain lovers! And this year, the organizers are not stopping at a Brain Awareness Week that lasts 7 days… Activities will be offered from March 10 to 26, 16 days to discover everything brain-related.

Our brain: neurons… and what else?

The word “brain” often implies “neurons”. This year’s theme begs the question: “Our brain: neurons… and what else?“. A variety of lectures, science bistros, debates, talks, workshops, film-debates and exhibitions are available to the general public to discover what is really hidden in our brains.

Neuroscience enters the schools

Brain Awareness Week also takes place in schools from primary to high school throughout the region. Volunteer researchers and neuroscience students take time to meet with students and discuss a presentation adapted to each grade level.
