5th Departmental Prize for Research in Provence
The Bouches-du-Rhône Departmental Council is organizing the 5th edition of the Prize for Research in Provence.
Through this prize, the Bouches-du-Rhône Departmental Council acts in favour of research, in an interdisciplinary manner, whether fundamental or applied, in the social and human sciences as well as in the hard sciences.
This competition honours the department’s scientific community. Three prizes are awarded: the Grand Prize, the Young Researcher Prize and the Special Prize. The latter rewards researchers, young researchers, collaborators and research teams who have recently distinguished themselves by the originality of their work and/or the impact of their work on civil society and the Provencal, national and international economy.
An award highlighting scientific expertise
The prizes are open to scientific and technological communities located throughout the Bouches-du-Rhône department. This is an opportunity for researchers and teacher-researchers to showcase the knowledge and skills of their teams. Obtaining this prize provides financial support and ensures media coverage within the scientific community, as well as with the general public.
To take part in this 2020 edition of the “Departmental Prize for Research in Provence”, all you have to do is fill in the online application form before July 1st.
The award ceremony for the “5th Departmental Prize for Research in Provence” will take place on Tuesday 24 November 2020 from 10:30 am, at the Hôtel du Département in Marseille.
