NeuroMarseille Day: registration soon open

As you know, NeuroMarseille invites the entire neuroscience community on Thursday, September 5, 2024, for a day of convivial gathering around science. Keynote conference, debate, workshops, escape game, ice cream: you will have it all... and much more! This year, we are offering a space for those of you who have created a company linked to our research world. 1st NeuroMarseille Patients' Day

Patients and their families need to understand what is being done daily in applied and fundamental research. Researchers, clinicians, engineers, students, you need their vision, their testimonies!
We are organising an encounter with our community for all the associations of patients suffering from brain or nervous system pathologies. This is a first, be there!

EITN Fall School in Computational Neuroscience 2024

The EITN Fall School in Computational Neuroscience consists of a 10 days of intensive training in theoretical and computational neuroscience, from cellular to whole-brain levels, provided by researchers from all over Europe. The course is typically aimed at PhD students, young postdocs, or master students interested to learn more about techniques of computational neuroscience, and the use of various simulation environments for model building.

CENTURI Hackathon 2024

The CENTURI Hackathon is a fast-paced two-day event of coding, engineering and idea-sharing to drive innovations at the interface of Computer Scienceand  Life Sciences. Our event is aimed at everyone with experience in coding and with a keen interest in problem solving in big data, computer vision or modeling. Experts in fields such as biology, mathematics and non-scientific developers are encouraged to apply! The event is open to students, postdocs, developers andresearchers.

European Student Conference on Behaviour and Cognition

ESCBC is a conference intended for Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students that work on the topic of animal (including humans!) behaviour and cognition.

NeuroSchool L3 / Master

This section covers the actions carried out with our 3rd-year undergraduate and master's students. 

It's the end of the school year for L3 students

Our L3 and Masters students ended the year on a high note on 22 May. The programme included a conference on ‘Brain and psychopathy’, RTEI posters and distribution of the annual yearbook, coordinated by our Neuronautes.

Congratulations, Nilser!

Nilser Laines Medina, a PhD student in biomedical engineering (cotutelle with PolyMontréal), was awarded second prize by the jury in the ACFAS ‘Ma thèse en 180 secondes’ 2024 competition for his presentation entitled ‘Segmentation automatique des lésions de sclérose en plaques dans la moelle épinière sur des IRM quantitatives’.

Congratulations, Sarah!

Sarah Bonnet, a PhD student, has won first prize ex æquo in the Oteci Région Sud 2024 competition: PITCH VIDEO - 120‘’ with a video in which she explains her motivation for research.

Funding from the City of Marseille

For several years now, the City of Marseille has had a procedure in place to promote research in Marseille. It aims to support the reception and installation of experienced researchers in the city.
The call should open in June with a deadline in July.

NeuroMarseille*NeuroSchool can financially support YOUR own thematic schools and scientific events. The call for proposals is open for events that will take place between March 1st, 2025, and February 28, 2026.
