Post-doctoral postion: optical approaches in-vivo

A three years -funded postdoctoral postion is available in the Cossart lab, the Mediterranean Institut of Neurobiology (INMED - INSERM, Aix-Marseille University, Marseille France) to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary and friendly environment (by the Calanques).

Description

The candidate will apply all optical approaches in vivo (i.e. targeted optogenetic stimulation, 2P calcium and voltage Imaging) to dissect the circuit basis and cellular mechanism of coordinated neuronal activation patterns in the mouse cortex (e.g. Bollmann, Bodol et al. Nature Neuroscience 2023).

Profil recherché

Candidates with good past-record of achievement will have expertise in in-vivo electrophysiology or imaging.
Starting date: fall/winter 2023- early 2024
