Presentation of the call

Within the NeuroMarseille Institute, NeuroSchool, the Graduate School in neuroscience at Aix-Marseille University (AMU), is offering to fully fund a one-year post-doctoral salary for an R&D project carried out in a company. This year’s salary is aimed at young neuroscience graduates (AMU Master’s degree in Neuroscience or AMU PhD in Neuroscience, see candidate eligibility conditions) with less than 2 years’ post-doctoral experience at the time of hiring.

The aim of this post-doctoral year in a company is to help young PhDs find employment.  It should also be noted that if the young doctor is then taken on by the company, it can claim the Research Tax Credit (24 months during which the company benefits from major aid for the recruitment of a young doctor).

This “Postdoc in a company” initiative is made possible thanks to the support of the French government as part of the France 2030 programme and the A*Midex Foundation, which fund the NeuroSchool / nEURo*AMU Graduate School (ANR-17-EURE-0029).
