Call presentation
As part of the NeuroMarseille Institute, NeuroSchool, the Graduate School (EUR) in neuroscience at Aix-Marseille University (AMU), offers to fully fund a one-year post-doctoral salary for a research project carried out in a company. This year’s salary is aimed at young neuroscience graduates (AMU Master’s degree in Neuroscience or AMU Doctorate in Neuroscience, see eligibility requirements) with less than 3 years’ post-doctoral experience at the time of hiring.
The aim of this year-long postdoc in a company is to promote the professional integration of young PhDs. Note that if the young PhD is then hired by the company, it can claim the Research Tax Credit (24 months during which the company benefits from major aid for the recruitment of a young doctor).
This call for tenders takes place in 3 stages:
- an open call for company research projects,
- the call for applications, followed by the selection of candidates by the companies behind the projects – open twice a year,
- auditions by the NeuroSchool Scientific Committee: selection of the winning “project/candidate” pair – auditions held twice a year.
