The post offers an exciting opportunity to participate in the early stages of a research project that seeks to understand the neuronal mechanisms underlying changes in behavioral states during a decision-making task in mice.
The successful applicant will be exposed to a highly multidisciplinary research combining aspects of experimental and computational neuroscience.
The successful applicant is expected to: – participate in the development of a foraging task for mice in virtual reality – perform data preprocessing and data analysis – perform mouse surgeries and daily behavioral training – perform large-scale electrophysiology in behaving mice
The successful candidate will receive a fixed-term contract of 6 months, possibly renewable. The position may attract applicants who wish to gain a strong research experience before pursuing with PhD studies.
