Patients and their families need to understand what is being done daily in applied and fundamental research. Researchers, clinicians, engineers, students, you need their vision, their testimonies!
We are organising a meeting with our community for associations of patients suffering from brain or nervous system pathologies. This is a first: be part of it!

Congratulations to our 4 brilliant winners!
This year, 4 young NeuroMarseille researchers have been awarded an ERC Starting Grant: Fanny Cazettes (INT), Maud Gratuze( INP), Baptiste Libé-Philippot (IBDM), Isabelle Dautriche (CRPN).
The whole community is proud to include these 4 brilliant young researchers! Congratulations !!
Good job "GINTER": led by Santiago RIVERA (INP), this group of experienced researchers (including former laureates) help candidates during their application journey! Everybody is invited to join.
In 2025, these young researchers will present their research projects that are NeuroMarseille's future and explain how they obtained prestigious fundings: stay tuned for a date very soon.

Scientific day of the Centre IRM-INT
The MRI-INT Center in Marseille is organising its 15th annual scientific day on Developmental Neuroimaging from fetal to adolescent stages (MRI in human and nonhuman primates).
It will feature talks by international, national, and local experts in the field. Postdocs and students can present their MRI neuroimaging work in a poster session, whether related to brain development or not.
Registration if free but mandatory, the number of places is limited!

Colloque 2024 du GDR Vertige
The aim of the conference is to raise awareness of the importance of vestibular disorders in children and the multiple consequences they can have on their psychomotor development, quality of life and interactions with their environment.
ENT and non-ENTL specialists will also discuss the non-vestibular peripheral causes of vertigo in children.
Finally, we will discuss fast-growing areas of research, such as gene therapy and vestibular implants.

First workshop of EBRAINS-France Research Infrastructure
EBRAINS is a digital research infrastructure created to provide sets of advanced data, software and tools for neuroscience research.
The workshop aims to showcase the current organization of the French node of EBRAINS and facilitate constructive discussions regarding the scientific goals and future developments. The workshop is intended to stimulate discussion and attract researchers who may not have previously contributed to EBRAINS or the Human Brain Project.

EITN Fall School in Computational Neuroscience 2024
The EITN Fall School in Computational Neuroscience consists of a 10 days of intensive training in theoretical and computational neuroscience, from cellular to whole-brain levels, provided by researchers from all over Europe. The course is typically aimed at PhD students, young postdocs, or master students interested to learn more about techniques of computational neuroscience, and the use of various simulation environments for model building.

Save the date for our next digital event: the PETRA network is joining forces with the GoPA network to bring you a webinar on the use of organoids in preclinical research.
We are pleased to welcome Luca TIBERI to this event; he will present the pediatric brain tumor models that he is developing in the group he leads at the Armenise-Harvard laboratory of Brain Disorders and Cancer in Italy.

Return on experience
Each year, NeuroSchool PhD program organizes the Return on experience (REX), a moment offered to students and the committee to discuss and give their feedback on the past actions in a way to improve the years to come and always adapt us to your needs.
This event is MANDATORY for students funded by NeuroSchool (2nd-year and above) i.e. laureates of international PhD, cotutelle, PhD for MD or end-of-PhD fellowships.

Co-funding to organize events or thematic schools
NeuroMarseille*NeuroSchool can financially support YOUR own thematic schools and scientific events. The call for proposals is open for events that will take place between March 1st, 2025, and February 28, 2026.

ICR 2025 call opens!
NeuroMarseille has launched a call for proposals to strengthen collaboration between laboratories: the Innovative and Collaborative Research Grants (ICR-20k€) call. The ICR can be extended to 35k€ with the ICR+ formula, to support the development of platforms.

School of translational neuroscience research.
The GIS, the Institut Thématique Neurosciences, Sciences Cognitives, Neurologie, Psychiatrie de l'Inserm and the CNRS Biologie are organising a neuroscience translational research school. This year's event will focus on neurodevelopmental disorders.
The aim of this school is also to encourage interaction between young researchers/clinicians and the lecturers in a setting conducive to discussion.
This school is aimed at young clinicians (interns in neurology, psychiatry, neurosurgery or pharmacy, ophthalmology, ENT, etc.), post-doctoral researchers, junior professors, ATIP/Avenir holders, as well as researchers and teacher-researchers recently recruited from EPSTs or universities who want to familiarise themselves with the world of translational research.
