International Neuroscience Meeting 2020: Fresh look on brain inhibition
The International Neuroscience Meeting 2020 will take place on April 5-6, 2020 at the prestigious Hôtel Intercontinental Hôtel Dieu in Marseille on the topic “Fresh look on brain inhibition”.
NeuroSchool is offering to finance 10 registrations to the conference in order to allow its PhD students to attend.
Even if you apply for this NeuroSchool call, you will then have to register on the conference website to participate!
Application characteristics
The application must be submitted, by February 28th, 2020, as a SINGLE PDF DOCUMENT entitled LASTNAME-Firstname-Lab-Inhibition.pdf and consisting of:
- a resume (2 pages max) containing the name of their laboratory and team, what PhD year they are currently in, and the title of their research project.
- a short cover letter that emphasizes their interest in attending the meeting.
Applications should be sent at the following address: neuroschool-candidature@univ-amu.fr
Complete applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by NeuroMarseille and the decision will be validated by NeuroMarseille Executive Committee.
Once selected, the winners will be contacted by e-mail during the first half of March with further information.
PLEASE NOTE: candidates will commit to presenting a poster at the meeting. A title and abstract will be requested from the selected candidates for their registration to be confirmed.
The NeuroSchool logo must be present on their poster.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, the applicant must fit the following criteria:
- works in a Marseille laboratory, on a topic related to the subject of the meeting,
- is at least in his/her second year of PhD.
His/her complete application file must be received before the deadline set above.
Selection criteria
We will take into account the interest for the candidate of participating in the meeting and the quality of the academic/scientific record.
In case of equal applications, the selection committee will select applications distributed among the different laboratories in Marseille.
