Optical microscopy for neuroscience research: from structural to functional imaging
The optical microscopy core facility at INT provides support and microscopy tools for neuroscience investigations. Its range of instruments includes confocal and widefield fluorescence microscopes for fixed tissue imaging, a lightsheet microscope for large cleared samples, all the way to multiphoton and photoacoustic microscopes for deep tissue functional imaging using fluorescent activity indicators. INPHIM is part of the CIRCUITPHOTONICS imaging facility (joint structure between INT, INMED and Institut Fresnel) and takes part in the development of new neurophotonics methods for brain circuits’ investigation.

Training
You are looking for a platform to train one or more staff on a particular technique or equipment?
The facility is currently open to INT teams and collaborators, and training on techniques and instruments is part of the services provided. In the near future, the opening of the facility to researchers and teams outside the INT (academic and industry) will be formalized through a pricing system. If interested in trainings or other services, researchers can already get in touch with the facility to discuss their projects.
Services submetted to charges
You have a project that requires expertise, a technique or equipment that you don’t have? You’re not looking for scientific collaboration, but for the expert who can meet your needs? Then you’ve come to the right place.
The facility will be opened in the near future to external users. We provide an expertise in optical microscopy for fixed and live tissue investigation. We will also provide services including training, help in experiment design and assistance in the acquisition.
