Foveating a moving visual target : neurophysiological processes

In spite of visuomotor delays, we are able to catch a moving object where it is and when is is there. Our investigations are aimed at discovering the neurophysiology underlying this local synchronization which, discontinuous most of the time, happens between the motion of an object in the visual field and its foveal capture. During this training stage, the master student who is motivated to prepare a doctoral thesis afterward, will be trained to the neuro-psycho-physiological research in the awake behaving monkey.
